Planned Giving

CREATE YOUR OWN MUSICAL LEGACY

Planned giving is a meaningful way to ensure that the Santa Monica Symphony can continue making quality classical music accessible to everyone for generations to come. After you have provided for your loved ones, please consider including the Santa Monica Symphony in your estate plans.

You can make a lasting impact through a bequest in your will or by naming the Symphony as a beneficiary of your trust, retirement plan, IRA, life insurance policy, or bank/brokerage account. We encourage you to consult your financial advisor to determine the option that’s best for you.

If you choose to include the Symphony in your plans, please use our full legal name: Santa Monica Symphony Association. Your attorney may find the following sample language helpful: I hereby give, devise, and bequeath ________ (a dollar amount, or all or a percentage of the rest, residue, and remainder of my estate) to the Santa Monica Symphony Association, P.O. Box 3101, Santa Monica, CA 90408-3101, for its general purposes.

The Santa Monica Symphony Association is recognized by the IRS as a tax-exempt, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Our federal tax ID number is 95-2265589.
