WELCOMING NEW MUSIC DIRECTOR POLA BENKE

The Santa Monica Symphony launches its 81st season with a new Music Director, Ms. Pola Benke. Her artistry, vision, and deep commitment to community engagement reflect the very heart of the Symphony’s mission.

Since 1945, the Santa Monica Symphony has been a major cultural asset, serving the residents of Santa Monica and Southern California.

As a community of musicians, the Santa Monica Symphony produces a season of five FREE high-quality concerts, performing works from the classical and contemporary symphonic repertoire, in venues that are conveniently located and readily accessible by public transportation.

An exciting roster of distinguished soloists enhances each season. Concerts feature established stars on the classical music scene as well as award winning young soloists.
